Our faculty and staff are incredibly proud of the tour musicians for the maturity and poise each student displayed during our flights to London. Flight crews and fellow-passengers were extremely complimentary of the way in which students carried themselves. One British Airways flight attendant commented to Mr. Teague, "This group of young adults is incredible. So polite. They really know how to make a great impression!" Bravo, all!
We are grateful to the universe for providing on-time and uninterrupted flight travel for all of our tour participants. Both flight-groups were checked-into the hotel by early afternoon and by mid-afternoon we were experiencing London "mist" while walking the parade route with an Audio Guide historical commentary. Upon return to the hotel students had an opportunity to find an independent dinner in the Marble Arch area, followed by an official orientation meeting. Students then departed for their assigned hotel rooms for a mid-evening bed check and some well-deserved sleep ... but not before marching band members gathered their uniforms and equipment to store in their hotel rooms.
European Birthdays!
Today we extend the happiest of birthdays to three of our tour members: Kirsten A., Gabe D. and Emily K. We hope you enjoyed Mr. Teague's "special" birthday song!
As a reminder for families back home, most of our photography will be posted to the Photo Gallery, so please be sure to check THIS PAGE throughout the week. [https://tinyurl.com/DGNLondon23PhotoVideo]
